En 1803, un certain <\/span><b>Eug\u00e8ne de Beauharnais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, le beau-fils du premier consul <\/span><b>Napol\u00e9on Bonaparte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ach\u00e8te cet h\u00f4tel particulier \u00e9difi\u00e9 en 1713. Per\u00e7u comme le successeur naturel de Napol\u00e9on, il lui fallait un lieu \u00e0 la hauteur de son rang !\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour la d\u00e9coration, il a pu compter sur le soutien financier de sa m\u00e8re, <\/span><b>Jos\u00e9phine de Beauharnais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, devenue imp\u00e9ratrice l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante. Les am\u00e9nagements les plus riches et clinquants sont de mise : portique de <\/span><b>style n\u00e9o-<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>\u00e9gyptien<\/b>, vaste biblioth\u00e8que donnant sur le jardin, salon des Quatre Saisons au <\/span><b>style pomp\u00e9ien, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">somptueux cabinet de bain et autre Salon Vert. Encore aujourd\u2019hui, ces merveilles se laissent admirer par une <\/span><b>poign\u00e9e de privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chaque ann\u00e9e. En effet, les pi\u00e8ces, les meubles et les d\u00e9cors sont les m\u00eames depuis cette \u00e9poque, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un <\/span><b>inventaire<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> datant de 1817.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>Des mains de Napol\u00e9on \u00e0 celles de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric-Guillaume III de Prusse<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selon <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geo.fr\/histoire\/a-paris-dans-les-secrets-de-lhotel-de-beauharnais-joyau-unique-du-style-empire-209533\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">certaines sources<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, l\u2019h\u00f4tel particulier aurait co\u00fbt\u00e9 tellement cher aux Beauharnais que <\/span><b>Napol\u00e9on <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aurait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de saisir le bien de son beau-fils et de s\u2019en servir pour son utilisation personnelle. Une chose est s\u00fbre, la chute de l\u2019empereur en 1814 met un terme \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re napol\u00e9onienne de l\u2019h\u00f4tel particulier, qui entre alors dans l\u2019\u00e8re allemande. Cette grande demeure arrive aux mains <\/span><b>des Prussiens<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, et plus particuli\u00e8rement de <\/span><b>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric-Guillaume III<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ce dernier y installe sa l\u00e9gation, puis ach\u00e8te l\u2019h\u00f4tel particulier. Il est restitu\u00e9 en 1961 par le pr\u00e9sident <\/span><b>Charles de Gaulle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en signe de paix. C\u2019est \u00e0 partir de 1968 qu\u2019il devient la r\u00e9sidence de l\u2019ambassadeur d\u2019Allemagne \u00e0 Paris.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce lieu diplomatique n\u2019est malheureusement ouvert que rarement au public. D\u2019apr\u00e8s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geo.fr\/histoire\/a-paris-dans-les-secrets-de-lhotel-de-beauharnais-joyau-unique-du-style-empire-209533\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">G\u00e9o<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, les visites ne sont possibles que les <strong>deux premiers lundis du mois<\/strong> en matin\u00e9e,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0pour un nombre de visiteurs restreint.
