Cet \u00e9rudit a consacr\u00e9 de nombreuses monographies \u00e0 de grands artistes en devenir, comme <\/span><b>Kandinsky, Matisse<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou encore <\/span><b>Picasso<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>De la naissance des Cahiers<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V\u00e9ritable visionnaire, <\/span><b>Christian Zervos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a rapidement pris conscience du talent des artistes de son temps et a \u0153uvr\u00e9 \u00e0 leur <\/span><b>reconnaissance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pendant plus de 30 ans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tout commence en 1926. Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00e9diteur <\/span><b>Albert Moranc\u00e9<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Christian Zervos lance sa propre revue nomm\u00e9e <\/span><b>Cahiers d\u2019Art,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019art contemporain. Il se charge de chaque \u00e9tape de la conception, de la <\/span><b>r\u00e9daction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00e0 la fabrication. Chacun des <\/span><b>97 num\u00e9ros<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de Cahiers d\u2019Art est unique gr\u00e2ce au graphisme utilis\u00e9 et \u00e0 la mise en page m\u00ealant texte et <\/span><b>reproductions d&rsquo;\u0153uvres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. C\u2019est le cas des nombreuses analyses \u201cscrupuleuses et syst\u00e9matiques\u201d du travail de <\/span><b>Pablo Picasso<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> qu\u2019il commence d\u00e8s 1932. D\u00e8s 1934, son activit\u00e9 lui permet \u00e9galement d\u2019ouvrir une <\/span><b>galerie d\u2019art <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dans la capitale, tout comme son \u00e9pouse Yvonne. La publication des Cahiers cesse toutefois pendant la <\/span><b>Seconde Guerre mondiale<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, avant de reprendre de mani\u00e8re moins fr\u00e9quente \u00e0 partir de 1945. Le dernier num\u00e9ro est publi\u00e9 en 1960, apr\u00e8s 34 ans de d\u00e9cryptage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>Un mus\u00e9e d\u00e9di\u00e9 au couple Zervos en Bourgogne\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lorsque la guerre \u00e9clate, <\/span><b>Yvonne et Christian Zervos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> partent se r\u00e9fugier dans une fermette achet\u00e9e quelques ann\u00e9es plus t\u00f4t dans le hameau de La Goulotte, pr\u00e8s de <\/span><b>V\u00e9zelay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, en <\/span><b>Bourgogne<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Plus tard, ils y passent de nombreuses vacances et accueillent leurs amis artistes. \u00c0 la mort du couple en 1970, l\u2019ensemble de leur <\/span><b>collection et des archives<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> des revues Cahiers d\u2019Art sont l\u00e9gu\u00e9es \u00e0 la ville de V\u00e9zelay, dans l\u2019objectif d\u2019y ouvrir un mus\u00e9e.
