Et puis, un si\u00e8cle plus tard, l\u2019abb\u00e9 <strong>Louis Cotte<\/strong> d\u00e9couvre la premi\u00e8re source d\u2019eau sulfureuse \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9tang : le premier <strong>\u00e9tablissement thermal<\/strong> est alors \u00e9rig\u00e9 en 1800. Mais c\u2019est surtout sous le <strong>Second Empire<\/strong> que l\u2019ampleur du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne prend et que ce petit hameau devient un <strong>village de vill\u00e9giature<\/strong> tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9 par la <strong>bourgeoisie parisienne.<\/strong> Grandes f\u00eates aux bords du lac, concerts, soir\u00e9es dansantes\u2026 L\u2019animation y est quasi permanente.
