On utilise alors des pierres de taille et le donjon n&rsquo;est pas tant plus important que les autres tours. Au fur et \u00e0 mesure de son histoire, la forteresse est pass\u00e9e <strong>entre les mains de plusieurs familles,<\/strong> dont les de <strong>Sancerre<\/strong> au XIIIe &#8211; XIVe, les <strong>Froment,<\/strong> les <strong>Brinon,<\/strong> puis les <strong>Tillet<\/strong> \u00e0 partir du XVIe si\u00e8cle et jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la <strong>R\u00e9volution fran\u00e7aise.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nU15DpNHMFM?si=2W1Y_DzrgoJPykFN\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Le ch\u00e2teau est alors rachet\u00e9 par <strong>Alphonse,<\/strong> <strong>Comte de Chasseval<\/strong> qui y rajoute la \u00ab\u00a0tour Alphone\u00a0\u00bb entre 1853 et 1854. Mais c&rsquo;est surtout son fils, <strong>L\u00e9on de Chasseval,<\/strong> qui entreprend la restauration ainsi que l&rsquo;agrandissement de la forteresse. Une <strong>v\u00e9randa<\/strong> <strong>sur l&rsquo;\u00e9tang<\/strong> est par exemple ajout\u00e9e, et presque l&rsquo;enti\u00e8ret\u00e9 de la <strong>d\u00e9coration int\u00e9rieure<\/strong> est remise au go\u00fbt du jour. Il faudra attendre bien un si\u00e8cle plus tard, en 1962, pour que le ch\u00e2teau s&rsquo;ouvre au <strong>public<\/strong>. La v\u00e9g\u00e9tation vient alors cr\u00e9er une sorte de <strong>mini-for\u00eat<\/strong> dans laquelle il fait bon se promener au travers de <strong>petits passages sinueux,<\/strong> au parfum des fleurs sauvages et des racines qui s&rsquo;y trouvent. Lui aussi a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 au <strong>XVIIIe si\u00e8cle<\/strong> dans le but de nourrir les personnes y habitant. <strong>Arbres fruitiers majestueux,<\/strong> <strong>fleurs magnifiques, herbes aromatiques, serres&#8230;<\/strong> Ce lieu est un <strong>\u00e9crin de verdure bucolique<\/strong> dans lequel il fait bon se relaxer. Entour\u00e9 de quatre murs, on peut parfois y apercevoir quelques <strong>l\u00e9zards<\/strong> se balader.
