{"id":203510,"date":"2024-06-28T12:07:15","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T10:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pariszigzag.fr\/?p=203510"},"modified":"2024-06-28T12:05:31","modified_gmt":"2024-06-28T10:05:31","slug":"sainte-croix-en-jarez-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pariszigzag.fr\/france\/sainte-croix-en-jarez-village\/","title":{"rendered":"Cet ancien monast\u00e8re est le seul au monde \u00e0 s&rsquo;\u00eatre transform\u00e9 en superbe village de caract\u00e8re"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Class\u00e9 parmi les plus beaux villages de France, ce <strong>site situ\u00e9 dans la Loire<\/strong> \u00e9tait \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine un monast\u00e8re chartreux qui s&rsquo;est au fil du temps transform\u00e9 en lieu d&rsquo;habitations.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Un monast\u00e8re devenu village<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Ce village a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit \u00e0 l&#8217;emplacement de <strong>l&rsquo;ancien monast\u00e8re de chartreux<\/strong>, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 en 1280 par une certaine B\u00e9atrix de la Tour du Pin, veuve du seigneur Guillaume de Roussillon, qui appartient \u00e0 une importante famille de la noblesse fran\u00e7aise. Toutefois, la Restauration va changer la donne en en refaisant une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9e. Le monast\u00e8re reste ainsi un village qui d\u00e9pendait de la commune voisine nomm\u00e9e Pavezin, avant de devenir une commune ind\u00e9pendante en 1888. \u00c0 cette \u00e9poque, celui-ci prend alors le nom de <strong>Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez<\/strong>. Il s&rsquo;agit alors du seul village construit \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un monast\u00e8re chartreux.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sainte Croix en Jarez, village de caract\u00e8re  (42)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3T5xsja92Sc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Un monument \u00e0 visiter<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Le <strong>monast\u00e8re de Sainte-Croix<\/strong> est aujourd&rsquo;hui \u00e0 visiter. Son architecture se r\u00e9partit selon trois zones distinctes que sont la cour des fr\u00e8res, la cour des p\u00e8res, et la zone \u00ab\u00a0c\u00e9nobitique\u00a0\u00bb o\u00f9 se trouvent les b\u00e2timents communs (\u00e9glise, r\u00e9fectoire,\u00a0salle du Chapitre). Construite autour du XVIe si\u00e8cle, la <strong>fa\u00e7ade fortifi\u00e9e<\/strong> est constitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;un mur de 100 m\u00e8tres de long avec des tours \u00e0 chaque extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. Une partie a toutefois \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9e dans un style baroque \u00e0 partir du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle.
