Le jogging c'est has been, passez au plogging !

C’est une excuse facile mais plutôt vraie, faire son petit jogging dans les rues de Paris, ça peut vite devenir compliqué à cause du monde et des rues jonchées de détritus.

Alors si vous êtes sportif et écolo, nous avons déniché pour vous la pratique idéale : le plogging ! Inspirée du mot suédois “plokka up”, qui signifie ramasser, elle consiste à mêler course à pied et collecte de déchets. Ainsi, c’est pourquoi on peut désormais croiser des groupes de coureurs, sacs à la main, déambulant dans les rues de Paris.

I think this was the most effective plogging run I've ever organised, a full 100l trash bag per participant in just about one hour of jogging – Paris trash heroes, you were amazing! 🙌 What's all of this about? PLOGGING combines going for a run with cleaning up the city, park or nature around you, and is a really great way to meet awesome people, exercise and make the world a little better, too. 🌍♻️🏃‍♂️ I love it not only because quite obviously we collect masses of trash this way and because it's always a fun time, but also because of what plogging does to the people that see us passing by: it immediately triggers a reaction, makes them aware of pollution and passionate for those that do something against it. Every three minutes there was someone shouting "bravo", saying "merci" or loudly applauding us for what we do! As so often, the best way to trigger a change in behaviour is not though aggression, but by proactively taking the lead to become part of the solution, spreading kindness and doing it all with a big smile on your face!! Thank you Paris team for the great enthusiasm today and the estimated 50kg of waste we collected together – and whose best treasures will go right into the sculpture tomorrow! 💪😁 What have your plogging experiences been like, or what's holding you back to give it a try?

Faire d’une pierre deux coups, c’est un peu le crédo des adeptes de ce nouveau sport à part entière, qui ramassent parfois jusqu’à 50 kilos de déchets sur la chaussée par session de running.

L’occasion idéale de se sentir bien dans son corps… et dans son esprit !
